My July & August Beginner Sourdough Workshop dates are officially live!

If you’ve been dreaming about baking your own artisan sourdough and are ready to build confidence in the entire process, I’d love to bake with you.

In class we’ll cover everything from starter care and fermentation to shaping, scoring, and baking. You’ll leave with dough, starter, tools, and the confidence to continue baking at home. We will also share a sourdough focused light lunch together.

📅 Summer workshop dates:
• July 9
• July 18
• July 19
• July 25
• August 8
• August 9

$175 per person

Your workshop registration includes:

• Hands-on beginner sourdough instruction in a small group setting (maximum 4 students)
• Active sourdough starter to take home including jar & stir tool
• Two bannetons (proofing baskets)
• Bread lame (scoring tool)
• Bench scraper
• Digital kitchen scale
• Two sourdough loaves to take home and bake in your own oven
• Printed beginner sourdough guide
• Sourdough focused light lunch

Classes are intentionally small and hands-on, with just 4 students per workshop.

This week’s Dough Drop is officially live!

We’re kicking off summer with a little trip down memory lane featuring some nostalgic favorites inspired by childhood summers:

☀️Fresh out of the oven and almost ready for porch pickup

This week’s lineup featured OG sourdough, White Cheddar Gruyère & Cracked Black Pepper, Hazelnut Espresso Snickerdoodles, Classic Cinnamon Rolls, and Salted Caramel Espresso Rolls. Thank you, as always, for supporting this little micro bakery.

🥖A little heads up for all my sourdough lovers… I’ll be releasing my July & August Beginner Sourdough Workshop dates on Monday, June 1 at 10am!

June workshops sold out incredibly fast, so if you’ve been hoping to join a class this summer, keep an eye out. Spots are intentionally very limited (4 participants) to keep classes small and hands-on.

I can’t wait to keep spreading the sourdough love around this community. If you are not on my text list DM your name and phone number with the word WORKSHOP and I will get you on the list so you’ll be the first to know when it drops.

Both June sourdough workshops are officially sold out. Thank you all so much for the support and excitement around these classes, I can’t wait to spread the sourdough love a little further into the community and spend time baking with you all in person.

I’ll be releasing July workshop dates in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned if you missed out this round!

🍞 NEW BEGINNER SOURDOUGH WORKSHOP DATES ADDED 🍞

The first Alpen Dough Beginner Sourdough Workshop filled so quickly that I’ve opened TWO more June dates!

🗓 Saturday, June 20
🗓 Sunday, June 21

These will be the same small-group, hands-on workshops focused on helping beginner bakers feel confident starting their sourdough journey at home.

We’ll cover:

* starter care & feeding
* mixing & stretch/folds
* fermentation & shaping
* scoring & baking
* troubleshooting
* and how to actually read your dough

Each student will head home with:
🥖 sourdough starter
🥖 two loaves
🥖 bannetons
🥖 bread lame
🥖 scale + tools
🥖 full beginner guide + quick reference guide

Plus lunch, and lots of sourdough talk along the way.

These workshops are intentionally kept very small (4 participants) so everyone gets individual guidance and hands-on help throughout the process.
