A Celebration in Buttercream

It was an absolute honor to create this collection of stunning buttercream art for a traditional Irish-Scottish wedding-an elegant garden of floral cupcakes paired with a bespoke Lambeth wedding cake.

The cake-a deep, moody green almost fanciful square adorned with intricate Lambeth piping, delicate gold accents, beautiful thistle, and lavender green buttercream leaves. Such a beautiful tribute to Scottish heritage and a dramatic centerpiece for the celebration.

Each floral cupcake-84 in all, was individually handcrafted in buttercream, inspired by the colors and delicate botanicals of the bride’s beautiful bouquet. Lavender blooms, tiny white blossoms, lush green leaves, and layers of intricate piping came together to create a garden of flowers that was entirely edible.

Every detail was piped by hand. Every flower was created in buttercream. Every element was designed to feel intentional, romantic, and beautifully connected to the couple’s heritage.

As I worked with each floral cupcake set, and cake, I worked to the traditional Celtic music to bring the heritage and feeling into each collection, letting the music lead the design.

This is not simply cake. Not simply cupcakes.
It’s a garden of buttercream art, created especially for their day. 🌿💜☘️
