November just happens to be national adoption month so what is more fitting than to introduce our newest bundle of joy! Meet Kaden Jasper Hobbs, born November 1st at 7lbs 11 oz 🥰

We matched with his precious family in late September but kept this little secret to ourselves until we knew we would actually get to bring him home! I’ll share our adoption journey another time but we are absolutely in love with this precious boy!

His first name Kaden was chosen by his birth parents and is a mashup of their names and we suggested the middle name of Jasper which they liked as well. He is our precious treasure we traveled through valleys and over mountains (literally) to finally meet!

There’s so much I want to say but for now I want to acknowledge that for us to have the privilege of raising this precious child, another wonderful family is grieving a piece of their heart that is no longer with them. We hold both grief for them, & joy for ourselves as he is our dream come true. We are grateful to be a part of an open adoption where he will get to have direct contact with his birth parents & adorable 3 year old brother throughout his life. How lucky are we to get to visit Salt Lake City every year! Their decision to place him was not due to lack of love and he will be raised knowing just how many people love him so dearly!

Also, I just have to say how amazing it is to see Hazel be the sweetest big sister ever and we are just in absolute bliss. After 7 years of trying to build our family, our hearts are so full & our bank account so empty 🤣 but we would do it all again for our 2 precious miracles!!

Praying everyone gets their Christmas miracles & so so grateful for all the friends turned family here, even though I don’t get to be as present this season. The orders, messages, & prayers over my family are beyond appreciated. Feeling so overjoyed this Christmas!

I know the holidays can be really hard for so many people. If your heart is heavy this Christmas, I pray you know how loved you are & that the new year will bring peace and healing 💛

Vintage Pooh: Chapter One ✨

I can’t believe our little Hazel is ONE! It felt so good to get back to cookies! I definitely didn’t get to spend as much time on these as I wanted, but I enjoyed getting to be creative again!

I’ll post some details from the party as well! It was so fun getting to celebrate with friends and family & I’m still pinching myself that I have the privilege of finally being a mama 🥰

Most cutters are from our ruffle collection, the “one” cutter is from our collab with .cookieco (in our shop), & the romper is called the Penelope Romper (from our shop)

Frosted is 5!!! ✨

Can you believe it?! 5 years ago I launched this little business of mine. I had doubts, fears, and felt the weight of my non traditional path after graduating college. I just felt this pull towards cookies. I loved baking, I loved art.. combine the two and frosted was born! I had nooo idea it would become our bread and butter for 3 years. I’m so proud of what we have all built (because it would be nothing without you all!). Frosted has taken a back seat to raising little Hazel & it has been tough to put my first “baby” on the back burner but I am still so proud of this space. This space allowed me to share my passions with you all, & in return you helped bring the best gift in the entire world into my arms! I’ll continue telling myself I’m going to be “more active” on social media this week.. & hopefully soon it will actually happen 🤣 cheers to 5 years!! ✨

Tis the season ❤️

Florals & ruffles are my new fave. I sooo wanted to turn this into a class. Filmed the whole thing talking through each step. Oh what fun it was to discover my iPhone apparently won’t film horizontal videos longer than like 30 seconds 🤣😭 luckily vertical videos are fine so I can still have some content for reels but figured I’d disclose what goes on behind the scenes hahaha in a world full of beautiful seemingly effortless classes there are fails we just don’t always talk about. Maybe I should add a camera to my Christmas list 🙃 May you all have more success than me this season ✨🥰💛🤣

Start to finish, these little guys took me an hour (including baking & mixing icing)! That’s a major win for a super slow decorator like myself. They’re not perfect but they’re special because this is the first time I have some hope I can do the whole mom thing & still whip out some cookies every now and then. I have thrown 110% of myself into being Hazel’s mom (which is a dream come true) but I don’t want to lose this side of me either. So I’m taking this small win even though it doesn’t happen often haha So impressed with full time moms & full time cookiers! & some people even have jobs outside the home on top of all this (I literally can’t comprehend this). SO, if you’re like me & feel like you can’t do it all, you’re not alone hahah I don’t know how they do it.. but we can celebrate our little wins that feel like big wins to us 🥰🎉
