The kids are quasi-home, so quick lunches are super helpful! Homemade pizza crust, topped with fresh lettuce from the garden, roasted chicken, homemade Caesar vinaigrette dressing, shaved Parmesan cheese and dusted with cracked black pepper was an amazingly cool lunch!

Sometimes, there are just straight mess ups. The picture on the left is just that; a cake that didn't turn out right. It looked right and smelled great . . .but by the time it cooled, there was a clear reality it was wrong! I was frustrated because of lost time and ingredients. I thought of how to redeem the unfortunate situation and I created "cake croutons." I took a kitchen mishap and turned it around. Would I want to do this all the time? NO! However, the end result was a fun experiment we all enjoyed and the "messed up cake" wasn't wasted. How do you handle mess ups?

We ordered gf cookies and they were amazing. The cookies were very yummy and the decoration was spectacular. The display of cookies for delivery was beyond expectation. Grain exchange is my go to for gf baked goods:)
So Karen made her Carmel Toffee Cake for my fiancé’s birthday yesterday. He has a life threatening wheat allergy and I thought one of Karen’s cakes would be the perfect treat. We were not disappointed. It was the most delicious, moist cakes I’ve ever had!!! You would never know it was gluten free 🙂 Thank you Karen!!! I want the sugar cookies for Christmas :))
