This is Grandma Mae. She’s the reason why we have the pie shop and is the namesake of our chocolate pie. It was in this little house where Mae raised her family, where everyone gathered for special get-togethers and holidays, and where she taught her granddaughter, Lynn, to make pie. Through Railyard Pie Company, we honor Mae’s life and legacy by continuing to do what she did best — bringing people together over pie. 💛

It’s hot! 🥵 Unfortunately, our air conditioning went out over the weekend, and currently, our kitchen is no place to be turning on ovens to bake pies! Hi, friends! I am so excited to celebrate with you all! If we haven’t met, I’m Patricia, owner and operator of Kannon’s Kabins! It’s hard to believe that we opened one year ago. It’s feels like I blinked and now we’re here, and at the same time like such a big and hard-earned milestone. They say when you start your own business, the first year is the hardest. And when your first year is in the middle of the COVID pandemic… well you get the picture! Becoming a business owner has been quite the roller coaster filled with rewarding highs and lows of doubt and uncertainty.
Despite all the chaos this year has brought, one thing always remains clear: how grateful I am for all of YOU. I have never received so much kindness and support. Thank you for every like, share, referral, gift, and feedback. Your support and encouragement has allowed me to pursue my dream job that gives me so much fulfillment. Thank you for letting me love your pets and trusting me to care for them.
