Tomorrow's menu includes blueberry muffins, pretzels, chocolate chip cookies, Oreo brownies, birthday cake bars with chocolate frosting, still a couple of oatmeal cream pies and apple crisp bars left.

This is awesome going to be a great first market day AND Strawberries on the square. Strawberry shortcake pretzel on the menu ✔️✔️

UPDATE: Strawberries on the Square has been postponed due to weather and it will now take place at the Youngs Creek Park amphitheater on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

I had a few oatmeal cream pies today! I will have more on Thursday. The filling is not marshmallow fluff, instead it's Ermine frosting--a light, whipped frosting with roots in early American farmhouse kitchens.

Apparently today is May Ray Day... it's sunny already and we have birthday cake bars and Oreo brownies.

Also available today: OG pretzels, garlic Parm, and pepperoni rolls to come out around 1130.

Last week was my busiest week yet between wholesale and larger orders 🥨❤️

A small business “day off” usually isn’t much of a day off, but yesterday I took one (it was also my birthday)…I still did a flour shopping trip because what's a baker going to do with no flour?

Any guesses how many pounds of flour I went through last week? Closest guess might win a little something 🤔 🎉

Last Friday, 44 kindergarteners crowded into Lola’s Bakeshop with big eyes gleaming… this week I was baking 180 cookies for the alumni dinner. 🍪

Huge thank you to the Edinburgh Alumni Association for choosing Lola’s Bakeshop for dessert and thank you to the East Side Kindergarten team for including Lola’s Bakeshop on the community tour.

As someone who went to Edinburgh K-12, this is a reminder that community matters at every age. Sometimes it's nine batches of cookies and sometimes 44 sets of little hands grabbing a pretzel bite.

Thank you for supporting this little bakery and watching it grow. ♥️🤍🖤🗡️
