Support for Perez Sisters, organized by Eliza Perez
In late April, our dad Guadalupe was hospitalized. After a little over a week at the hospital, he suffered a heart attack and passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 83.
We are mourning him and dealing with everything that comes with losing a loved one. Our dad’s passing was completely unexpected and we have been devastated and at a loss for words on how to share what happened and how to reach out to our community for support.
Our dad had yet to prepare his will or even obtain life insurance, so we will have to go through a probate process to make sure his home is correctly passed down to his children.
My sisters Mary, Eliza and I are raising money for: legal fees to have a lawyer assist us with this process, utilities that we will keep active to maintain our dad’s home and yard, home insurance fees, and the greatest expense - fees to pay for the house so that we may keep our dad's home as his only three daughters in Texas and the Valley.

And lastly, we are grateful for the support that close friends, family, and coworkers gave us immediately after, from providing flowers to donating sweets for the memorial to simply accompanying us during his funeral. Thank you for being there for us.
