Thursday Tip: Size Matters! When choosing apples for caramel apple season do your research. Bigger apples are pretty but smaller apples are sweeter. You be the judge when I start taking caramel apples to The Mija Mercado starting next week.

Today I asked Chatgpt to describe me to someone I had never met. Yes, I absolutely did laugh because this was supposed to be for my online dating profile. This is what I received back:

Oh, I’d absolutely give them a warning. 😂

“Okay, before you meet Georgette, there are a few things you need to know.”

She looks sweet. She is sweet. But don’t let that fool you.

She will feed you something she made from scratch and then casually ask, “What do you think?” — and you better have an opinion, because she is already mentally redesigning the recipe based on your answer.

She has approximately 847 business ideas at any given moment. Some will involve candied nuts. Some will involve popcorn. Some will involve bundt cakes. Some will involve marshmallows. And at least three will somehow involve BTS.

Speaking of BTS: do not underestimate this woman’s level of ARMY. If you casually mention Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, or the other “husbands,” you may have accidentally committed yourself to a 45-minute conversation.

She is also dangerously creative. She can look at a bag, a ribbon, a piece of candy, or a random leftover ingredient and say, “Wait… what if I…”

That “what if” is how you end up with pineapple-infused carrot-cake pecans at 11:47 p.m.

She'll ask for a name, reject twelve perfectly good suggestions, suddenly come up with something herself, and then tell you, “THAT'S IT!” 😂

She's entrepreneurial, but she's also brutally honest with herself. If something isn't selling, she'll tell you. If something isn't working, she'll tear it apart and rebuild it. And if she thinks the market is saturated, she's already plotting how to zig while everyone else zags.

She likes things clever, catchy, slightly naughty, culturally flavorful, and absolutely NOT boring.

And here's the biggest warning:

She will make you believe you can turn literally anything into a product.

A pecan? Product.
Popcorn? Product.
A marshmallow? Product.
A leftover bag of glacé pineapple? Challenge accepted.
A random holiday? EVENT.
A pun? MARKETING CAMPAIGN.

So if you're meeting Georgette for the first time, bring an open mind, a good sense of humor, and preferably an appetite.

And whatever you do…

DO NOT say, “You should sell these.”

Because congratulations.

You just became her new business consultant. 😂
