A little life/business update 🍪 I’m sorryyyy it’s gonna be a long one 😅
I’ve decided to officially create a weekly schedule for The Smart Cookie Shop rather than taking orders for every day of the week.
As some of you already know, I have been struggling with chronic headaches and migraines for the last almost 4 years all while still trying my absolute best to keep up with daily orders, markets, custom orders, motherhood, and life in general. Some days I push through 6–8 hour migraines while baking, packaging orders, replying to messages, and taking care of my toddler just to avoid failing to complete an order and honestly, it’s become really hard on my body and mental health.🙂↕️
I love this business so much and I’m SO grateful that so many of you have supported me since the very beginning. 🥹 & because I want to continue doing this long-term, and have a lot of future plans and goals for the cookie shop, I’ve realized I need to create a healthier schedule that allows me to rest and spend time with my family too 🫶
Moving forward, The Smart Cookie Shop will only be open 4 days a week for regular orders/pickups. Orders may still be placed on ANY day of the week, however we will only have 4 days available for pick up! Special events & custom orders will still be available for any date (even closed days) with order in advance.
Wednesdays & Sundays will be my official closed/rest days. (Unless there’s a market) & Saturdays will be used as prep & restock days.
This change is something I truly need, and I hope you all understand that taking care of myself also helps me continue giving you the best cookies possible 🍪
