Gone, but never forgotten. 🇺🇸

Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than gatherings and long weekends—it’s about honoring the heroes who sacrificed everything for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

For our family, this remembrance is deeply personal. We honor cherished friends, HM1 FMF/SW Simon Stewart and John B. Moore, along with our family member, Corporal Gordon Gulvin. Their courage, sacrifice, and love for this country will never be forgotten.

Their legacy lives on through the lives they touched and the reminders they leave behind to serve others, stand strong, and appreciate the freedoms we often take for granted.

To every Gold Star family, every loved one carrying loss, and every fallen hero—we remember you today and always. 🇺🇸

May is Military Appreciation Month, and getting to make these cookies for some of the Navy pilots in my daughter’s squadron means everything to me!

As a military mom, you see firsthand the long hours, sacrifices, dedication, and the kind of commitment most people never fully see behind the scenes. So when your daughter calls and asks, “Can you make cookies for my squadron?” … the answer is always yes. 🤍

It was truly an honor to create something small to celebrate and appreciate the people who serve our country every single day. And seeing some of them holding the cookies at the end? Absolutely made this mama’s heart happy.

To all of our military members and their families — thank you for all you do. 🇺🇸✨

Hidden in the heart of New Smyrna Beach is a beautiful piece of history that has been bringing people together since 1914 🤍

The Grand was originally built as one of Florida’s earliest citrus packing houses and has been beautifully restored into a timeless wedding and event venue full of charm, history, and thoughtful details. It’s romantic, elevated, and somehow still feels tucked away like a little secret in our beach town. 🤍✨

For this week’s small business cookie collaboration, I recreated The Grand 721 in cookie form to spotlight a local business that creates an experience, not just an event space. From quiet getting-ready moments to celebrations filled with dancing, laughter, and love, every part of this venue feels calm, seamless, and thoughtfully designed.

One of my favorite things will always be small businesses supporting other small businesses, especially the ones pouring their hearts into creating meaningful experiences for others. If you’re local, go show them some love!

Behind every service member is a family counting down days, answering late night calls, missing holidays, and learning how to be proud and worried at the exact same time. ❤️⚓️

As a Navy mom, Armed Forces Day means a little extra to me. It’s a reminder of the sacrifices made not only by those who serve, but by the families who stand behind them cheering them on from home. The long days, the distance, the uncertainty… all worth it when you know your child is serving something bigger than themselves.

Today we celebrate every branch, every service member, every veteran, and every military family holding it all together behind the scenes.

And if you see a military mom today… just know we’re probably smiling through tears while checking our phones for the 47th time. 🇺🇸

Thank you to all who serve. We are so grateful for you. ❤️
