52 Bakery is Randy Bauer-Mess Maker, Three sons, Josiah-Bouncer/Food Critic, Jacob-Oven Master and Jonah-Cookie Boy/Man, Lovely wife Lisa-Scone Girl.
52 opened in 2000 do to a really crappy 1999. Both of our fathers died and I was fired 2 weeks before Christmas. Being fired was a gift I found out later. We started as Applewood Bakery and Catering Company, than to Applewwod Bakery

Found God (he really wasn't missing) changed to 5 Loaves & 2 Fish Bakery and now 52 Bakery.
52 has an amazing story.
52 started as a shorter name but is so much more. Isaiah 52, Stand up shake the dust from your clothes and be what God created you to be. God made me to be a creator-flour, water, yeast and salt are my canvas
52 represents the year that I am embracing my gifts and letting go of the past and all the fears that hold us down. 51 years of living in fear is long enough
52 weeks of work and 2 weeks of rest

Tis the season! Oktoberfest is going on everywhere, Stop down for a pretzel today and I have a Sauerkraut Kase Foccacia??? Haven't tried it yet, will be sampling today. Evening Folks, we will be doing our normal thing at Eau Claire Downtown Farmers Market Saturday, stop down early for your pick, We are short a baker so foccacia and a few other items will be a little less volume than normal, sourdoughs are Country, Maple Einkorn, New York Rye, Scones are Raspberry White Chocolate, Blueberry Peach and Caramel Apple.
