Reva is a life long baker, starting out like most of us as the “go to” source for sweets within in her family. As a graduate of the distinguished California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, she has studied baking and pastry with industry leaders and continues to value the importance of education both as a student and an instructor. In 2002, after years of lending her talents to others, Reva officially launched her own cake and pastry business, Merci Beaucoup. Calling on her connections in the Los Angeles area, she developed a glowing reputation as a high end cake decorator, supplying cakes across California and beyond. Her efforts landed her on three seasons of the show “Amazing Wedding Cakes,” which has aired globally in over a dozen countries. It remains an experience that has opened up many wonderful opportunities to share her skills with the cake community from North America to Europe and become a trusted name in the sugar arts. Reva’s fun, whimsical style is the result of her personality, a true cake decorator who’s goal is always to make people smile, a feat she has accomplished from L.A. to New York to Atlanta and all across the United States! Entering the next decade of Merci Beaucoup, Reva has taken on new challenges; moving her operations to the Lake Counties of middle Georgia, writing books, and expanding her teaching efforts. To sum it up in her own words, Reva is a “cake nerd.”

Just got back from Lake ArrowHead, California where I was honored to create this meadow themed wedding cake for a very special couple. This long cake was almost 4 ft in length and was surrounded by hand decorated cookies, S’mores cereal treats and Macarons. (And later individual cheesecakes)

One side was a Strawberry cake while the other side was a chocolate cake.
