You may have noticed over the past year that I’ve been very quiet on my Sugar + Extract business pages. This is because I’ve been working towards a new goal in my life- law school! I’m so excited to let everyone know I’ll be starting law school in the fall at Mercer University! With that being said, I’m closing up shop and won’t be taking any more orders. I’ve so enjoyed the adventure that has been owning my own business and getting to be a part of a vibrant community of other bakers. Looking back over the past few years of full-time baking, I’m so proud of the work I put in to hone my craft, but I’m also proud of all of the relationships I got to create through baking. I truly cannot thank everyone who has taken the time to support my business enough whether it’s been through a cookie order, a like on Instagram, or a share on Facebook. Thank you to everyone who has allowed me the privilege of creating cookies for all of your special life events. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Here’s to the end of one chapter and the start of another!
