T.E. Cakes Cakes When I was a kid I used to watch my mom make cakes and it stuck! Making cakes has been in my family for generations.

On my mother's side, up in the family tree, the family owned bakeries in Germany. My mother says I have that "gene" and I'd have to agree with her! My mother taught me the basics of cake baking, cake decorating, a few tricks and the encouragement to go forward with my skills. I've taken a few classes here and there from an amazing instructor and here I am! I still have lots to learn and I'm enjoyi

ng every bit of it. I have my sister to thank for helping me with my page...otherwise there is no telling what kind of shape the page would be in or what everyone would be seeing! Last not but least I want to thank my husband and daughter. Cliff for allowing me the time to do this, support and help behind the scenes! Makenzie for being my little taste tester...sometimes unwanted taste tester but I'm sure she'll be a great help down the road!
