My name is Tara, and I live in Mason, Ohio, with my husband Curtis and our sweet baby boy. We are the youth pastors at a church in West Chester; and I teach music, both privately and publicly, at various schools in the Cincinnati area.

While finishing my undergrad music degree in 2015, I woke up one morning with an insatiable, unexplainable desire to bake. I immediately started teaching myself, and discovered a passion for bringing people joy through delicious, hand-crafted desserts. I continued to bake to raise money for missions through my years in graduate school. Now, launched in 2019, Little Crocus Cakery serves delicate and beautiful cake designs to the Mason and greater Cincinnati area. I believe in simple, heartfelt home-baking, so my goal is to deliver the best-tasting cakes completely from scratch, with classic buttercream decorations to complement life’s most special moments. No boxed mix, no fondant, and no artificial flavors allows for great attention and care to be baked into each bite!

Not only that, but I know that good cake brings people together. I want to help you celebrate the milestones in your life with those you love. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or shower; let’s do simple cupcakes, an elegant multi-tiered cake, or an impressive dessert display!
