Being recognized by the Consulate of Portugal in Providence means more to me than I can put into words.
I came to the United States at a young age with dreams, a strong work ethic, and Portugal always in my heart. The journey has brought challenges, accomplishments, difficult moments, and countless hours of hard work—but I never stopped believing in the path I chose.
I am incredibly proud to continue our Portuguese traditions through Taunton Ave Bakery and to bring a little piece of Portugal to our community every single day.
Thank you to the Consulate of Portugal in Providence for these beautiful words and this special recognition. And thank you to my family, my team, and every customer who has supported us throughout the years.
Portugal will always be in my heart. 🇵🇹 I am proud of where I came from and equally proud of the life and business I have built here in America. ❤️

Cheguei aos Estados Unidos ainda jovem, com sonhos, vontade de trabalhar e sempre com Portugal no coração. Ao longo dos anos, houve desafios, conquistas, momentos difíceis e muitas horas de trabalho, mas nunca deixei de acreditar no caminho que escolhi.
