Jesus Christ died on the cross for our salvation, so we could become one with God.
Just as Adam and Eve were before they rejected the Word of God and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Just as Jesus Christ was when He walked the earth in the flesh, having the fullness of the godhead bodily.

This is what God always intended for human kind from the beginning. God, through the apostle Paul said "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2 Corinthians 6:16

In other words His Spirit would inhabit our vessels. He won't force His Spirit upon us, so we have to desire the indwelling of His Spirit. It's only through the indwelling of the Holy Ghost that we receive power from on high to lead truly godly lives.

We can't be who or what God wants us to be without the fullness of the godhead dwelling within these earthen vessels.

Do you want to be who and what God always intended? Do you want a relationship with the God of all creation? Do you want to have the power to lead a truly godly life?

God loves you. God wants to be one with you and wants to give you the power to lead a truly godly life. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son was the only way this could happen. That's how much God loves you!

Christ is returning for the church. The church is made up of disciples, not just associates.

We need to ask ourselves if we are a Christian in name only, or actually a disciple?

These things are not a religious belief! It happened and is recorded by history, not only the history of the church, but also the history of the unbelievers...

What happened on Resurrection Day?

After the completion of Passion Week comes the greatest day of them all: the day Jesus victoriously rose from the dead!

Early in the morning, the women went to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus with their spices and perfumes. However, there was a large earthquake and the stone is rolled away by an angel. The guards are terrified and fall over like dead men. The angel tells the women to go tell the disciples that Jesus is risen.

Jesus appeared to many people that day, including 500 people at the same time. He appeared to Mary Magdalene, Peter and the disciples, along with His brother James and others. He even shows them His hands and His side to prove that He has risen from the dead. Even doubting Thomas falls on his knees and says "My Lord and my God" when seeing this evidence.

Now that Jesus has risen from the dead, we can have salvation in His name. Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, and He rose from the dead so that we can live again with Him. As Jesus proclaimed: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall He live."

The Lord is risen, indeed!

When we accept Christ, we become one with God, through Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
The more we abide in Christ, whose name is the Word of God, the more He abides in us and we truly become one in spirit and in truth!
I want to be one with God through Jesus Christ, In Spirit And In Truth!
I want to be freed from the carnal spirit which is in man, and to be fully surrendered to the LORD our God in every way!
I want more of Him! I don't want anything of the old man to remain. I only desire to be what God intended mankind to be from the beginning ...one with Him.
I don't want this world, anything in this world, or any of the ways of this world that can come between God and man.

It's my desire to live for Jesus ... because He died for me and was raised from the grave to give me this opportunity to live for Him! Hallelujah! Praise God 🙌🙌🙌

The Bible is not a religious text.

The Bible is a history book that tells us where we come from, who we were, who we're supposed to be, and how to become that which God intended mankind to be from the beginning when we were created from the dust of the earth.

The Bible shows us that God wants a relationship with us, and through His interactions with those of the old testament and the new, we see what a relationship with God is supposed to be.

Jesus Christ is our teacher and our example of what God expects from us; who we are, and how we conduct ourselves around others, but especially in our relationship with Him.

Before Jesus came in the flesh, God anointed many who functioned in the gifts of the Spirit even though they couldn't yet be filled with the Spirit.

After Jesus, who had the fullness of the godhead bodily, began His earthly ministry, we see Him function in all of the fruits and gifts of the Spirit.

After His death on the cross for our sins, resurrection from the grave and ascension into heaven, we see the 120 in the upper room baptized in the Holy Ghost, after which they each go out and begin functioning in the fruits and gifts of the Spirit just as Jesus did.

This is what the church should look like. This is how the church should function. This is what the Bible teaches us.

It's time to become the church that Jesus Christ is returning for. The signs of the times are all around us. If we are not the image and the likeness of Jesus Christ, functioning in the fruits and the gifts of the Spirit, we are not the church that He is returning for. We need to seek God to show us where we have fallen short so when He does return, we will be caught up to meet Him in the clouds.

This, the great taking up of the church, is the fullness of the gentiles coming in that the apostle Paul spoke about in Romans 11:25
After the great taking up of the church, only the children of Israel who have the seal of God upon them will be saved. Everyone else will be left to face the wrath of God because they rejected the only begotten Son of God, who is the Word of God in the flesh!

As Jesus Christ was the living, breathing, walking and talking physical embodiment of the Word of God when He walked this earth in the flesh, we are to be the same. This is why the scriptures teach us to walk in the Spirit and not after the flesh. (Romans 8:1/Galatians 5:16) This is what making our bodies a living sacrifice is all about. (Romans 12:1)

In order to be the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, and function in the fruits and gifts of the Spirit, we need to receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost, which is separate from the baptism of repentance in water. (Matthew 3:11/Luke 3:16)

Not having the fullness of the godhead bodily is not going to exclude one from meeting Jesus in the clouds. Having faith in Christ as the Savior of mankind and confessing as much we actually received a portion of the Spirit, which is what will quicken our mortal bodies so that we are changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye! Glory to God!

If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ into your heart and life, what are you waiting for? If you want to know the Joy and the Peace of God that passes all understanding, and to be set free of every bo***ge in your life, it's time.
If you have, but you have yet to receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost, it's time to receive the power from on high to overcome the sin nature.

It's time to become one with God!

The Word of God is not a religious text. It is a history book. It lives and breathes.
The stories told in the Word of God are not legends or myths. They happened to real people, who lived and breathed.
Many times the prophets in the old testament spoke of things that happened 100's or 1,000's of years after they passed away. Those things they spoke about came to pass, and there are many more prophecies that have yet to be fulfilled.

One of the greatest prophecies to be fulfilled is the great taking up of the church to meet Jesus Christ in the clouds. We have to make ourselves ready for His return. If we don't, we will be left to face the wrath of God upon those who refuse to accept all that the Word of God teaches us.
If you have yet to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, or if you have accepted Him but haven't surrendered all you are to follow Him, it's time to. It's time to become the church that Jesus Christ is returning for.

There is no promise of salvation without the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is a significant part of the gospel. Our salvation is contingent upon the resurrection. Our faith in Christ hinges upon Him being raised from the grave.
If He was not risen from the grave, then no one who has died in Christ are risen, and there is no heaven where we will one day see our loved ones who have passed away.
Jesus himself said that if we don't believe, we are damned. We have to believe all of the gospel message in order to be saved.

1 Corinthians
15.12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
15.13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
15.14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15.15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
15.16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
15.17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
15.18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

16.15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Final thought: If Jesus wasn't risen from the grave, then His death on the cross means absolutely nothing.

The Bible records that more than 500 witnesses saw Him alive following the crucifixion, and history confirms it. History also reports that the Romans were putting people to death for saying they saw Him alive.
Ask yourself this if you don't believe in the resurrection:
Why would more than 500 people say they saw Him alive following the crucifixion when they knew that they could be put to death for their witness?

There are two choices for everyone. The tree of life, or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The tree of life is the cross of Calvary that makes it possible for us to become one with God as we were always meant to be.

The tree of knowledge of good and evil leads to sin and death, which is separation from the presence of God.

Every one of us is in the valley of decision. Sad to say, but even those of us who call ourselves Christians sometimes partake of the second tree. When we partake of the second tree, in reality it is a rejection of the Word of God. If we don't sense the conviction of the Lord when we partake of the second tree, we are not one with God and are not really His children. It's like Jesus said, we confess Jesus with our mouths but our hearts are far from Him.

On the other hand, those who are becoming one with God will sense the conviction of the Spirit when we partake of the second tree. This is how we know we are His. If we repent and ask forgiveness, God's mercy and grace will cover us.

Do you ever feel convicted about things you do, or have done and not really understand why? If you do, and you haven't surrendered your heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ, that conviction is God trying to draw you to repentance for your rejection of His only begotten Son, whose name in Revelation 19:13 is the Word of God.

Ask His forgiveness, accept Jesus Christ into your heart and life and ask for the indwelling of the Spirit of God to help you overcome the sin nature that every person was born with. If you do, you will be on the journey to becoming one with God, which is not complete until we meet Jesus Christ face to face.

What is Salvation?

The salvation of the Lord is about saving us from ourselves, or more accurately stated, our own selves. When mankind was created in the foundations of the world, we were created to be one with God. We were created with self will, only so God could see who would choose to be one with Him.

Self will is not sin, but when self will overrules the will and the Word of God it becomes unbelief, and unbelief in the Word of God is sin.

I've often asked myself “How does the blood of Jesus take away the sin of the world if sin remains in the world?”

Believing upon Jesus Christ and what He accomplished through His sacrifice of himself on the cross made it possible for us to become one with God. If we are made one with God, we become God willed. If we're God willed, we cannot sin.

I have to reiterate ”the sacrifice of himself“ because by laying down His life for the world, Jesus Christ was showing us that we are not our own. He accepted the will of the Father over His own life. We saw in the garden of Gethsemane that He pleaded with God for His life, but still surrendered to the will of the Father so that not all of mankind would have to die.

That's what God wants from each of us, a complete surrender of ourselves. He wants us to desire to please Him by turning from our own ways, and making His ways our own. He wants this to be our only desire, that we become one with Him. If we choose to become one with God, we can be led by the Spirit of God to make His will and His ways our own.

It's only by the blood of the Lamb slain from the foundations of the world that this was even possible. It was only possible through the sacrifice of himself that this became possible. This is why we are supposed to make our bodies a living sacrifice; the sacrifice of our own dreams and aspirations, the sacrifice of our own desires and wills. By making God's will our own we cannot sin through unbelief in the Word of God as Adam and Eve did in the foundations of the world.

By becoming one with God the law of sin and death is broken. Death in reality is actually a separation from the presence of God. Those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are spiritually stillborn. They are in essence the living dead. When they accept Jesus Christ into their hearts and lives they are made alive by the Spirit of God abiding upon them. They are Born Again, born of the Spirit of God.

Being born again is only the first step in becoming one with God. The next step in becoming one with God is receiving the baptism in the Holy Ghost (which is separate from water baptism for the remission of sins), because without the indwelling of the Spirit we don't have the power within ourselves to overcome the sin nature.

It's only those who have made their bodies a living sacrifice by choosing to become one with God that are going to be caught up to meet Jesus in the clouds when He returns for His church.

Are you one with God? Are you willing to lay down your life to become God willed instead of self willed? Are you ready to become the church that Jesus Christ is returning for?

Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and ask God for the indwelling of His Spirit while it is still called today, because today is the day of salvation. We're not guaranteed tomorrow and none of us knows the day or the hour of Jesus' return for the church, let alone our death. If we aren't one with God before we die, we will not make it into the Kingdom of God and all we will have to look forward to is the judgement of God and eternal separation from the presence of God in the lake of fire in outer darkness.

It's not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and be saved from the wrath to come upon those who reject the Word of God. His arms are stretched out still, waiting to embrace any who desire to become what He intended for all of humanity from the foundations of the world… To be one with Him!
