Granny is so embarrassed- she is getting a bit forgetful, being a woman of a certain age and all and forgot to post earlier 🙄....so here is the scoop:
Today we are happily at the following markets!! YAY
Ledyard Farmers' Market from 4-7 and
also from 4-7

Then tomorrow: Thursday we are at Wethersfield Farmers' Market from 3-6

And another very exciting weekend:
Saturday June 6 we will be at the first South Windsor Parks & Recreation Farmers Market from 9-12 and the first East Longmeadow Farmers Market from 9-1
And on Sunday we will be at the Farmers' Market from 10-1

We are also open Tuesday -Friday 10-5 and Saturday 9-1 at our 103 School St East Hartford location.
Regardless of the location we are always so happy to see you!❤

Granny is very excited: We are happily at the following markets this week:

Wednesday June 3 we are at the first Ledyard Farmers' Market from 4 pm-7 pm and our first also from 4 pm - 7 pm

Thursday June 4 we are at Wethersfield Farmers' Market from 3 pm-6pm

Saturday June 6 we are at the first South Windsor Parks & Recreation Farmers Market from 9 am -12 noon and the first East Longmeadow Farmers Market from 9 am - 1 pm.

Sunday June 7 we are at Coventry Farmers' Market from 10 am- 1 pm.

We hope to see you at one of the markets or - our 103 School Street East Hartford location where we are open Tuesday- Friday 10 am -5 pm and Saturday 9 am-1pm.

At Granny's it is truly officially summer when our Fresh Open Strawberry Pie is ready- and it is!! Our made from scratch vanilla filling mixed with creme and strawberry glaze and then topped with fresh glazed strawberries and edged in creme - wonderful summer deliciousness!! They take a moment to make as you might imagine so if you are inclined to pick one up- give us a call at 860-291-1164 and we will have one ready for you. Or simply stop by ......

Summer is just around the corner, and we are getting a head start on the season’s best flavors. This Thursday’s featured pie is a unique fruit fusion: our 10″ Blueberry Peach Pie.

Honestly, some days Granny cannot get out of her own way....Granny just realized that today is opening day of Farmers Market Season!! YAY! And we will happily be at Wethersfield Farmers' Market today from 3-6 pm. This market was Granny's first - so many years ago now- and continues to be just wonderful year after year. We hope to see you there....
And then on Sunday May 31 st we will be at the very first Coventry Farmers' Market of the season from 10am-1pm.
Both of these markets are continually amazing - offering organic produce. locally grown and produced food and products and just a wonderful way to spend some time. And of course, to Granny, being out side is always awesome...even in the rain
We are also open at our 103 School St East Hartford location Tuesday - Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. So regardless of the location we hope you will consider stopping by to see us to pick up a sweet treat or three. Monday is Memorial Day - a day off for some, or perhaps a chance to gather with family and friends to celebrate the unofficial start of summer. "But where did it originate?" Granny wondered. This is what she found from National Cemetery Administration (NCA) U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs:

"That Nation which respects and honors its dead, shall ever be respected and honored itself.”
– Brevet Lieut.-Col. Edmund B. Whitman, 1868 (Granny thinks this is a great quote)

'Memorial Day, a federal holiday held the last Monday in May, is the nation's foremost annual day to mourn and honor its deceased service men and women.
Originally called Decoration Day, it was formalized by a "Memorial Day Order" issued by Grand Army of the Republic Commander-in-Chief John A. Logan in 1868.
The modern proclamation calls on Americans "to observe Memorial Day by praying, according to their individual religious faith, for permanent peace." '
