CAKE African Village

CAKE African Village The C A K E African Village is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to cultural enrichment of children in the African diaspora.

Our mission is to foster an enriched, positive connection between all children and Africa. In particular, children in the African Diaspora, children of busy African parents, and even children who have been adopted from Africa can use this medium to relate to their African heritage. At over 3,000 sf, our Village features:

* Theater (for acting, cultural plays, fun debates, meeting African celebri

ties, etc)

* Dance/music room (learn drumming and other African instruments, African dances, ,etc)

*Art Studio (for creating African-inspired art and pottery)

* Lounge to relax, read, play games, taste and socialize. We have partnered with various "village elders" to make your child's experience unique, rounded and very enriching. Full-time (weekdays) or a part-time (weekends) members enjoy various benefits that Village offers including discounts on classes, use of facility, merchandise, events, and more.
