We grow a wide variety of vegetables and flowers which we sell in our farm market along with many local products, such as Nodine's meat and Hudson Valley fruits. Our homegrown fruits and veggies vary by season. We started picking tomatoes from our bee-pollinated plants in the greenhouse the last week of May (our earliest tomatoes ever). The asparagus is still popping up and the lettuce is keeping

our salad bowl full. If you don’t see rhubarb in the market, just request it and we’ll be glad to go out to the field to pick it for you, it’s especially delicious when mixed with the strawberries that are in the prime of their season right NOW! We have just stocked our shelves full of snacks, crackers, chips, salsas, marinades, oils and vinegars, spices and chocolates! And new this year, we are carrying Brown Cow yogurts, as well as maintaining our selection of Crescent Creamery milk, wide variety of Cabot cheeses (we love Cabot!), Blue Bunny and SoCo ice creams and plenty of thirst quenchers from Harney’s iced teas to Stewart’s Root Beer or Odwalla juices. And the best for last…. We keep a wide selection of pies (our most popular being Fruit of the Forest-apples, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and rhubarb), cookies, quiches, breads and rolls on display in the market. Each weekend we make sure to have our bakers Meredith and Emery’s special of the week, which could be éclairs, cheesecake, scones or whatever else they decide to mix up. The bakery and catering services are available all year round. We love party planning for any upcoming celebrations or discussing ideas for something as simple as a birthday cake.

We eagerly come into the weekend with fresh treats from the market and the kitchen. You can find out more about what's cookin' by subscribing to our email newsletter. Butterball has a few stories to tell too!

Two menu items we prepared this weekend that are still on our minds: citrus glazed salmon, baked with cara cara oranges and lemon slices AND pork spare ribs, slow cooked in our hearth oven. While the salmon has been eaten up, we still have some ribs available for sale - tonight is a perfect night to turn on the grill to reheat these fully cooked ribs for dinner.
