Come and get some green tomatoes! I made Fried Green Tomatoes today with a friend who had never tasted them before!
Have you ever made green tomato pie? Make it like an apple pie but be sure to pre-cook down the tomatoes with the sugar and ingredients so they won't remain to green and crisp when later baked. It's a great conversational piece to take to a friend's house or a potluck!
I have sliced and frozen green tomatoes between wax paper before to make fried green tomatoes during the winter.
I have also pickled green cherry tomatoes and they can be used in salads of many sorts especially pasta salads.
Please estimate the weight of the tomatoes with the scale and there are plastic bags on the stand. Please leave $2.50 per pound for tomatoes. Some of them are red and gold ripe tomatoes. If you buy a large quantity feel free to give yourself a little discount. I also have jalapenos out front that you can pick and weigh (I'm not sure the market rate you can leave what seems fair).
I have pumpkins obviously!
A little of this and that. There are purple lilac trees that are priced between $20 and $35 depending on size And there are some Parts of spearmint for $15.
