Hey friends, when we did the markets and such, we consistently had so many of you ask us for gluten free baked goodies, and now our good friend is opening her micro bakery in March for orders for truly gluten free,Celiac safe, dairy free, delicious goods! Hi I'm Harlei, I was diagnosed with Celiac two years ago and my youngest daughter a year ago. My eldest daughter was diagnosed with Type one diabetes 3 years ago and is severely lactose intolerant and my youngest daughter can't handle dairy right now either.
I found that Brownwood is severely lacking in their gluten-free Celiac safe, and dairy-free options.
I have been feeling called to help fill that need! I'm also hoping to provide options that are lower carb and won't Spike that blood sugar!
I have my Texas food handle certification and I am super excited to start my micro Bakery!
I'm hoping to start taking orders in March so be on the lookout

Ok y'all, here's our long awaited, bittersweet update on the food trailer-
The good news- we got the part we needed and the good ship Watermelon (named by our favorite 4 year old employee) is back in tip top shape!
The sad news- since all of the flooding in recent weeks, we learned that our friend Tommy over in San Saba (Watermelon's original owner) lost his restaurant Bucking Good BBQ in the flood. He asked if we'd be willing to sell it back to him so he can get going again.
The bittersweet news- we said yes. So today, we said goodbye to our food trailer, she's going home to San Saba and we wish Tommy the best as he rebuilds a business from scratch after his loss, y'all say a prayer for him and everyone else who is still grappling with the different levels of devastation from the flooding. 🙏🏼 We've been very quiet on the page lately in part because of the heartache we're all carrying for those who have lost so much, for the lives lost, and for the ones who are left to grieve them. We continue to pray, support and donate to the groups who are aiding.

We want to thank each and every one of you from the depths of our hearts for supporting us on this short lived but very fun and wild ride of being food truck owners. It wouldn't have been possible without you! We may do it again in the future sometime, but for now, we are back to cottage baking. We'll post more in the days to come about our new menu items, ordering info and pop ups. Again, thank you all for being with us on this wild rollercoaster that is life! ❤️

Alrighty, we have a few announcements! 📣
First up- we will have wedding cookies, butter cookies, bolillos and hamburger buns for sale this Friday at Ricardo's Tortilla Bakery from 9-11 a.m.
Secondly- we will not be at Brother's Food Truck Corral this weekend, we're still ironing out some brake issues with "Watermelon" as our kiddo has affectionately dubbed our food truck.
Thirdly- we are opening orders for hamburger and hotdog buns for the 4th of July! I'll make a separate post with the pricing and ordering info. We will also be selling hamburger plates, more info on that to come as well.
