Three forks, Columbia falls mt.

Great service, almost great food, quaint location. The salads and starters were amazing. The crab cakes are off the hook! The single complaint I have was the flat iron steak. It wasn't cooked properly,but to boot it just didn't taste right. Almost as if it were old. I know it's just as likely that it was just a taste that we didn't like, but they still fixed it and brought a diff plate for replacement. The menu is small, which was refreshing, and honestly we had a hard time picking as everything looked great.
Oh,the fries/potato wedges are amazing!

Smokey bones, Orlando

The food, great! The service in the other hand not so much. Our server was rude, short with us, forgetful, and lazy. Our drinks were often empty. One member of our party asked repeatedly for sugar for her tea three times before it finally arrived. It was a very disappointing evening for all 7 of us.

Star island resort, Orlando.

The worst resort I've stayed at.....ever. I've been at two star motels that offered better service! They rent a room for 6 people, and provide towels for 2 of them. A single Bar of soap between two bathrooms and two kitchens....Oh and if you ask for more, they charge you! This place skimps on everything. Our reservation required a room change half way through the week, but our new room wasn't ready they said, (had to clean it) so they kicked us out of our first room and we couldn't check into our new one for 6 hours. BTW, our new room was filthy.I wont return

Tom and Jerry's air boat rides. In Florida

So so. Being my first air boat ride I'd say it was fine. We did see a few alligators,but were not told until we were on the boat that it was the worst time of day for seeing them. What really bothered me about this tour was the first thing the boat captain said to us was that he expects a tip. No one should ever ask for a tip.....ever.
All over the boat was signs asking for tips. Oh also, the gal who greets you when you first arrive, very rude.

Update: after reading my review I received threatening and vulgar responses from the owner.... nice right?

Wow this place is amazing....ly bad.. the front desk gal ran my card for someone else's reservation, then was rude to me when I was concerned about it. Our room was clean but everything in it was broken. I'm not sure how the shower rod didn't fall off of the wall. The complimentary shampoo that they leave in the room was used by the previous guest....this was obvious due to the lid being torn off. Finally the house keeping staff walked in on me without even knocking.

Crumby service, food was OK. Our waitress dropped off our Coffee, food,and check. Then we never saw her again. My coffee was empty nearly the whole meal. The manager took the coffee off our bill, but I would've preferred a second cup

Cottonwood grill
Went there last night for dinner. We were seated promptly which was a nice surprise. In fact the service all night was great. Or at least the service from our waitress. The food on the other hand could've been better. Much better. I feel like the kitchen staff just didn't care. One of our party ordered the sirloin steak....it was way over cooked. I ordered the elk, which was way undercooked. The prawns that I ordered with my steak were bland. I sent the elk back to be re-cooked and I'm nearly certain that they just put my whole plate in the microwave. The plate and all the food (not just the steak) was burning hot and I couldn't eat it for several minutes. It's unfortunate that the kitchen staff just doesn't seem to care.

Can someone tell me why Dutch brothers is so popular? The coffee here suuucks. I've tried several drinks based on my favorites from other coffee shops and suggestions from Dutch bros baristas but everything here is horrible. It ranks lower than Starbucks , and almost as bad as moxie java.

So I have found boise's best hamburger. You can find it too at Fork. It's the Urban Burger and it's fantastic!! It's not overly slathered with sauce not does it need to be. Mine was complimented with cheese and bacon (I mean, what self respecting overweight adult male wouldn't get cheese and bacon on his burger?) and it really set it off. It comes with some decent fries but to be honest the onion ring appetizer and burger pretty much did me in.
My wife had the blackened fish tacos, which btw were pretty awesome too, be sure to get the avocado with this dish.
It was lunch time so the only drinks were water. They put the water in a fancy bottle but by the taste I'm pretty sure it was just tap water
Overall a great visit ( my second in a month) and I'm sure I'll be back again soon.

The Stereo Shoppe

We decided recently to look in to putting a theater room in our home. I went down to the stereo shop on Fairview and set up a time for them to come out and measure and take notes on the proposed room I had in mind. Their tech spent a couple hours at the home checking every thing possible, including spending half and hour in the attic. When he was finished he told me to expect a quote after, but the week of Christmas, which was two weeks away. He explained that they were very busy this time of year. Ok, so I wait. Christmas comes and goes, as does the new year. Sometime after the 1st I stopped in to their store. Upon entering I see 5 men standing around, all of whom work there. I get the attention of my salesperson and he goes off in to the back to look for my quote. He comes back and tells me that its not done. Ok, so I leave and wait some more. About this time I called two other theater installation companies for estimates. Another week goes by, both of the other companies came and provided their quotes. So I decided to call the stereo shop again. My salesperson tells me that its almost done, and that I should hear from him on next Monday, or Tuesday at the latest (1-13, 1-14.) That week comes and goes. Tuesday the 21st I get a call from them. The person on the phone asks me if I have received my quote yet......
Are you kidding me.
So in the end I decided to do them a big, big favor. I took my business elsewhere. After all, if they really are so busy that they cant even provide an estimate in over 45 days, then they must be too busy and need less business.
