Just a few more weeks and fresh lavender will be at the market!!!! In the meantime we've had to finish install of our French drain. This project has been long over due, it took awhile to gather the materials. It's 70% complete- what a good feeling. Now to just add the rock to back flow. Happy May Day Friends🤍For anyone who follows this page and may be wondering how the lavender farm is doing in one word...this...there's been things year after year but now ...this.... the amount of energy and man-power it took to remove and old growth tree like this is astounding. A big thank you to our neighbor Mick for his knowledge and help with clearing....this dandelion wish gives a glimmer of hope-and because for now it's the littlest favorite flower. But, Im not going to lie losing the Locust tree this winter it was tough. We loved that tree and it was so special to this place. People out there may not understand how someone can grieve the loss of a tree so deeply but for those who do thank you for being here. So, happy to share this beautiful and magical day on the farm. It's moments like these that keep hope alive in the lavender dream.🧡💜
