Our red headed dairy gals have arrived! Meet Garnet and Thomas! These two will be the foundation of my future creamery/cheesemaking hobby. At some point they’ll be producing milk for me to make the finest wheels of blue you ever did see! They are Lacaune/East Friesian/Tunis crosses and I’m so excited to have them.

After waiting for what feels like an eternity for this girl to lamb, Licorice gave birth to a single ewe this evening.

We were out checking the fence before settling down for the night and were beyond surprised to walk out and see this little girl. Our son has named her Blueberry Muffin. 💕
