I need to take a minute to brag on Crissy and Crissy’s Confections, because her heart is every bit as incredible as her talent. ❤️

A couple of weeks ago, I reached out to her about making cupcakes for me. Without me even having to explain, she immediately knew who and what they were for. To honor my late bestie on her 38th bday.

I told her I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted. I just had this idea of combining two things my girl loved, pink and sunflowers. I sent her ONE inspiration picture, and she simply said, “I can definitely do that.” But then she did what Crissy does—she took it so much further. She remembered that dragonflies were special to my friend and incorporated them into the cupcakes without me ever asking. Then she arranged the entire display into the shape of a B for Britani. 🥹

It’s one thing to be incredibly talented at what you do—and she absolutely is—but it’s another thing entirely to put this much heart into your work. The way that she remembered those little, unspoken details and understood how much they would mean to me touched my heart more than I can explain. Every little detail felt intentional, personal, and full of love.
