With Sugar on Top Bakery will be reopening for a short period to participate in a fundraising opportunity. My daughter, Abigail Griffo, will be traveling to Guatemala on a mission's trip with GPS (Go Passionately Serve) through First Baptist Church in Wilmington. She leaves on July 18th and will be ministering to children and building houses while she is there. Abigail is really excited to serve outside the country because she has spent many years serving within the US, I will be praying like crazy,

As for the fundraising portion, we need to raise $600 by the end of June. With Sugar on Top Bakery will be selling the following items for $20 each:

Pound Cake - Vanilla, Chocolate, or Almond
Chocolate Chip Cookies - 2 dozen
Vanilla Cream Cheese Bars

We will be open to take orders starting today, June 5th through June 25th. I will be out of town Father's Day weekend, but please know pound cake freezes well!

We entered a bake off at the Steel String Brewery! They loved our cupcake; banana pound cake cupcake topped with vanilla icing, real bacon crumples, shaved chocolate and sea salt! It was a HUGE hit!

This is how we celebrate 80 birthdays! We had the honor of baking 80 undecorated cupcakes for inner city kids to celebrate their birthdays. They don't get to have birthday parties, but today they are getting to decorate their own cupcake and celebrate each other. Thank you, Lorene Parks, for allowing us to be apart of such an awesome event.
