If you've been wondering why I've been a little quieter than usual lately, don't worry—I'm still here. I haven't been kidnapped by a rogue batch of cookie dough.
The reality is much more exciting: we're in full-blown "help my parents move" mode!
Our days currently consist of helping my parents decide if that stash of yarn that hasn’t been touched for thirty years is really worth keeping, planning out the most efficient travel routes, etc.
Because of all that, I've made the difficult decision to skip Father's Day and Fourth of July pre-orders this year. And honestly? I'm kind of bummed.
Of all the years to miss Fourth of July cookies, it had to be America's 250th birthday! 🇺🇸 Of course my parents would choose the most epic Independence Day in our lifetime to decide they wanted to move. The timing is truly impressive. 😂 But helping my parents move and getting to celebrate this holiday with them for the first time in almost a decade is more than worth it!
We'll be back in late July with a cookie class that is going to be SO much fun. I can't spill all the details just yet, but it's one you definitely won't want to miss. 👀
Thank you for hanging in there with me while life is a little extra chaotic. I appreciate every single one of you, and I can't wait to get back to creating sweet things for you! I will say that you’ll still be able to find sweet treats from us at The Pink Place!
