Durand Christian SDA Church Durand SDA Church is a loving Family style Seventh-day Adventist Church located in Durand WI. In this Church, we lift the name of Jesus and love our fellow-men.

We meet every Sabbath (Saturday) at 9:30 for Sabbath School and 11 am for praise & worship.

It was with sadness that the Durand SDA Church lost a pillar, faithful leader and member. He loved serving God and preached his last sermon on July 2, 2022. He was on a schedule to preach and lead the communion service for the church on July 9, 2022, but he wasn’t able to make it. That was the day that we was found resting in the Lord.

Lester believed the Bible with all his heart. He was an elder of the church and taught Sabbath school/Bible studies for many many years.

Lester was a believer of the Second Coming of Jesus and the message of the Cross. Here is the Scripture passage that he also liked:

"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NIV).

DURAND SDA CHURCH WELCOMES 12 PRECIOUS INDIVIDUALS
The church is rejoicing for having twelve children of God accepted Jesus through watery grave of baptism. Above all, heaven is rejoicing for this monumental commitment. Also, we give thanks to the Menomonie SDA church, our sister church for allowing us to use their baptistry. All praises and glory to God. This sure is a high Sabbath!

CHRISTMAS EVE PROGRAM 2021
Durand SDA Church held a Christmas Eve program. Directed by Sister Ellen Aquino and participated by the church members. Everybody is blessed by the program, snacks and gifts. Jesus truly is the reason for the season.

Also, we were able to collect cash and diapers for the family who lost a wife and mother 12 days after giving birth to the twin. Durand SDA Church joined the community on this drive. Giving is also the reason of Christmas.
