Around here, we believe a good day starts with two things: the smell of something sweet baking and the sound of a redbird singing out back. Cardinal & Crumb was born from that simple joy — a love for homemade goodness, vintage charm, and the little comforts that make life sweeter. Every cookie, loaf, and bar we bake carries a bit of that small-town warmth, the kind you can tast

e and feel. We stir by hand, laugh loud, and bake the old-fashioned way — with real butter, family recipes, and stories passed down from kitchens that came before ours. Each treat is served with a wink of nostalgia, often on a thrifted plate that’s found its second life at our stand. Because to us, second chances and sweet crumbs are both worth saving. Whether you’re stopping by for a slice of banana bread, a bag of pecan sandies, or just a little company, you’re always welcome at Cardinal & Crumb — where old-fashioned flavor takes flight and every crumb tells a story.

Pappaw’s Dutch Oven Bread is baked, cooled, and ready — crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and made the old-fashioned way.

We also have fresh chocolate chip cookies waiting at the stand.

Today at the stand we have a fresh, small-batch lineup made with love:

Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies – baked fresh
Mammaw’s Cocoa Fudge – rich, simple, and old-fashioned
Mammaw’s Dry Bean Soup Jars – hearty pantry comfort
A Date with a Book – wrapped, cozy, and perfect for a quiet night in

Everything is made in small batches, so when it’s gone, it’s gone for the day

Looking ahead:
Sunday at 10 AM we’ll have fresh bread and cookies ready for the table!

We’ve been busy in the kitchen and at the table, and Friday's lineup feels extra special.

Moist, warmly spiced, and finished with a light honey-vanilla drizzle.

*Cornbread Molasses Cake slices
A little sweet, a little Southern — simple and comforting, just like Mammaw made it.

* NEW: Blind Date Night with a Book
Wrapped and mysterious, each book comes paired with cinnamon sugar popcorn for the perfect cozy night in.

* NEW: Mammaw’s Dry Soup Mix Jars
Simple, hearty, and made the old-fashioned way — just add water and let it simmer.

Good morning, friends! I’ll be opening the Cardinal & Crumb farm stand tomorrow at 7 AM, and I’ve been baking up a storm to bring y’all something extra sweet. Here’s what’s coming fresh out of the kitchen:

Rich, chocolatey, melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

Y’all… my heart is just full tonight.
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by the Cardinal & Crumb farm stand today — whether you grabbed a treat, said hello, or just slowed down long enough for a wave.

We came this close to selling out (I mean this close 😄), and every single one of you made the morning sweeter than anything I could bake. Your smiles, your kindness, your support… it means more than you know.

We’ll be open again Wednesday at 7 AM, bright and early, with fresh-baked goodies and:
