🌱 Why choose Hunt Homestead Farmstand?

There are a lot of farmstands around, and we know you have choices when you’re deciding where to shop. So we want you to know what makes us different.

For us, it’s about what goes into the food, not just what it looks like on the shelf.

We grow as much of our own food as we can right here on our homestead. When we can’t grow something ourselves, we make an effort to source from local producers whenever possible. We use fresh ingredients, real food, and simple recipes.

We also make a conscious effort to avoid preservatives, artificial dyes, and unnecessary additives. We aren’t trying to make food that lasts forever on a grocery store shelf. We’re trying to make food that you can feel good about bringing home to your family.

That doesn’t mean everything we make is “perfect” or that we’re claiming everything we sell is automatically healthy. We make baked goods, jams, treats and all the other good stuff too!😂 Just know those “treats” are also made with limited ingredients.

It simply means that when we have a choice, we choose real ingredients over unnecessary ones.

We believe that where your food comes from matters.
We believe knowing who made it matters.
We believe supporting local farmers and producers matters.
And we believe that feeding your family nourishing food made with quality ingredients is worth the extra effort.

So when you choose Hunt Homestead Farmstand, you’re not just buying something from a stand.

You’re choosing fresh, local, small-batch food made by people who genuinely care about what we’re putting into it. ❤️

And that is something we will never compromise on.

P.S. We are working on releasing a bread made with fresh ground wheat berries and ancient grains. The nutritional value here is much more than you would expect!
