“If you are unhappy where you are at then make the changes necessary”
A month ago I quit a job that I thought I would be at for a while. I thought this is where I was supposed to be but god had other plans for me and I’m so happy I followed them.
Over the past few months God has been opening my eyes. Having me see all the good and all the bad as well. In this time I was able to teach, guide, and love on so many individuals & im so grateful and thankful for the opportunity. But when the bad out weighed the good I knew it’s time for a change.
When I finally decided to leave my unhappy place I felt relieved for the first time in a while. I was scared at first because I didn’t have a Plan at all, I just remember saying “everything is going to work out. I know it is. I just have to be patient. “
Well god definitely showed up just like he promised me he would. Not even 30 minutes of me leaving my job I got a phone call for an interview to be a Assistant Pastry chef. By the end of the day I had 2 job interviews at 2 amazing places & one was even to be an Executive Pastry chef. Honestly I never thought I would have an opportunity like this in my life, simply because a lot of times I doubt my worth & my capabilities.
I am so excited to tell y’all I’ve been at my new job for officially 2 weeks now and I am loving it! It’s definitely a lot of responsibility but it’s so worth it. I get to teach and train other people to do what I love to do so much & that’s baking. This is my passion, this is what I love to do, truly a blessing & I am so grateful.
I didn’t say all of this to brag I just want y’all to know if your unhappy at work,in a relationship, or anywhere make that change, take that sacrifice you never know where god will lead you. By taking that leap of faith your life can literally take a 360 for the better.
