As we approach a new year, we look at a fresh start. For me, this comes with a bittersweet announcement…
I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to pause my baking business. I’m in desperate need of a sabbatical, at the very least.
I’ve always wanted this business to be a success, but that requires time I haven’t had to spare as of late. Our girls are getting older and that means they’re getting busier. Coupled with this business not being quite enough to allow for me to quit my full time job, tough decisions had to be made.

I want to offer a heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you who has ever purchased from me; to every one who has ever participated in the promotion of Northern Gourmet. Words cannot describe the love I’ve felt from your support.

As I look ahead to the future, I’m not sure what lies ahead. If I’ll come back to this. If I’ll revamp or rebrand. I’ve got a few ideas, but leaving it in God’s hands to guide me where He wills. For those of you who pray, please remember me when you do?

Limoncello Cake!!!
🍋🍸🍋🍸🍋

This was a fun, Summery cake to make.
~Lemon Cake soaked with Limoncello Syrup, and filled with fresh Lemon Curd, Graham Cracker Crumble, White Chocolate and a Cream Cheese Mascarpone Buttercream. Topped off with Candied Lemon Slices.

This was a personal donation for my kids’ school gala, and not eligible for sale thru Northern Gourmet. How could I not share it, though?! I could certainly tweak it to be an allowable item, however. Contact me today to find out how!

Due to unforeseen events (in an already hectic week), Northern Gourmet will no longer be at this Saturday’s market. 😢😢😢

Sometimes, life happens. I’m sad because I’ve been a vendor for this Springtime market for the last few years and have loved it each time. I do hope everyone still goes down to check it out, as Duluth Studio Market never fails to put a great group of vendors. ♥️♥️♥️
