Old Fashion cocktail anyone?! We may need something to get us through this winter snow that arrive yesterday!

I challenged myself A LOT with this cake! The glass is made out of poured sugar that I cooked to the hard crack phase of 320 degrees Fahrenheit. Poured onto my silicone mats and measured and molded to the correct measurements of the cake circumference. When it cooled enough to be firm, I encased the cake and added the details. Cake pop cherries, fondant orange peel, sugar ice cubes and Voila!!

My kids and husband watched the whole process and I’ve got to say that they were just as invested as I was! Having them support me and see how my determination pays off with my visions coming to life is something that fills my cup!
