We've been busy in the kitchen testing out a new recipe, and we think we may have a winner! 🤤

Meet our new Oreo Cinnamon Rolls! These soft, fluffy sourdough cinnamon rolls will be topped with a rich cream cheese Oreo frosting and loaded with cookies-and-cream goodness.

These are from our test batch, and let's just say they didn't last long around here! 🍪✨

We can't wait to add these to the menu and share them with all of you. Keep an eye out for an official launch date coming soon!

💛 A Little Bakery Update 💛

We wanted to let everyone know that we'll be stepping away from taking orders for the next couple of weeks.

This time will give us a chance to work on some old recipes, test some new ones, and tweak a few things behind the scenes so we can continue bringing you the best baked goods possible. 🥖🧁

We're also looking forward to slowing down a bit and spending some quality time with our friends and family while summer is here. These moments are important, and we're excited to enjoy them together!

And before we go, we have a muffin vote winner! 🎉 The Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin came out on top, so keep an eye out for it when we return and release our updated menu. We can't wait for you all to try it! 🍋

✨Bakery Update✨

We are almost finished with this week's baking schedule! We have just a couple more orders to complete, and then we'll be wrapping up another amazing week!

We can't thank everyone enough for the support, encouragement, and orders you've placed with us. Each week gets a little smoother, and we're so grateful to have such wonderful customers supporting our small sourdough bakery.

We'll be posting photos soon of this week's creations, and we can't wait to share them with you!

Slight update... forgot to add a picture of the pretzels 😭

We had our test bake today and made some exciting updates! 🎉

The Double Chocolate Chip muffins got a recipe upgrade, and both the Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Crumble and Orange Cranberry Crumble muffins are even better than before. 🫐🍋🍊

We also added something soft, pillowy, and sweet... 😉🍩 that's right, Sourdough Donuts! Plus our new Cinnamon Sugar Sourdough Pretzel Bites made their debut and they did not disappoint.

You'll notice a few price changes on the upcoming menu as we continue to refine recipes and grow The Joyful Crumb.

We also want to thank everyone for their patience while we took a week away from orders to strengthen our sourdough starter, test recipes, and make improvements behind the scenes. The extra time was well worth it, and we're excited for you to try everything we've been working on!

The updated menu will be posted tomorrow (Monday) at 4:30 PM CST. If this week is anything like the last one, be quick! 👀

This week’s baking has been unreal. Seeing that final video with everything packed into the trunk honestly blew my mind. I still can’t believe how much was baked and ordered this week. I hope everyone is enjoying their goodies! 💖

The cinnamon rolls and I also entered a toxic relationship for a few days, but we worked through our differences and made it out alive. 😂

Huge thank you to my family for helping me through such a crazy baking week, and thank YOU to everyone who supported, ordered, shared posts, and showed love to The Joyful Crumb. It truly means so much to me.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I will be TAKING OFF NEXT WEEK and won’t be taking orders from 5/25 –5/31. This week’s baking literally took my sourdough starter OUT, so I need some time to replenish her. 😬

For anyone who already messaged me about placing an order, I do apologize about the delay in production, but don’t worry, your spot is saved for when I’m ready for the next baking wave! 🤍

Just wanted to give everyone a little update 💛

The cinnamon rolls ended up being a bit of a setback in this week’s baking, and I sincerely apologize to anyone still waiting on their order. These last few days have been a whole lot of late night baking (and a few crash outs, 😅) trying to get everything caught up and just right.

The good news is the cinnamon rolls are finally baking up tonight and are almost done! 🥹✨

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support while I work through everything. And I truly appreciate my sister Bri and my mom Cathie for assisting me in this big week! Love you both so much! 💖

Tomorrow morning I will be personally messaging everyone who has not yet received their order, and all remaining deliveries will be hand-delivered tomorrow.
