A birthday cake made for a strong young woman that is a fighter. If you are lucky you will meet people who touch your life for the better. That happened to me several years ago when I was lucky enough to meet this birthday girl for the first time. It was an honor to create this cake for her 15th birthday.

Happy 21st Birthday!!!! This was another fun cake to make. Having two boys, I enjoy the girly cakes that are requested as I feel like there are not enough ruffles in my life 😁

We might’ve gotten over a foot of snow here in central Ohio, but before all the snow came I was able to get this birthday cake to a special young woman celebrating her birthday.

Cake is an almond cake with chocolate ganache filling and my own personal buttercream.

When you play around in the kitchen and make the most amazing mini pavlovas with homemade jalapeño infused whipped cream and fresh berries on top, you hide the evidence. 🫣

What a fun night celebrating the ! The award winning band is one of the best in the state and consists of an amazing group of kids who work endlessly to perfect their show. It was an honor to make their cake for the banquet.

This year’s show was titled Line By Line and was about illusions and featured Michael Jackson’s song Man in the Mirror.

I built this cake based off their show. The cake is over 4 feet tall and features layers of confetti or vanilla cake. The glove is made from modeling chocolate and fondant. The sequins are food safe sequins. The cake wouldn’t be complete without a mirror on top for the kids to look in the mirror.

It has been a busy weekend but I had to share these gorgeous macarons that I created. They went out Friday for a sweet girl’s 12th birthday party.

Life has been so busy that it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I had a fabulous time making desserts for a wedding a few weeks back. I wish the bride and groom nothing but joy and happiness for their life together ❤️

Cake and cupcakes were funfetti flavor but with white sprinkles. Macarons were vanilla and strawberry ‘n cream.

It’s been a busy September and this month it seems to be all about weddings! Cake is an almond cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. Simple but elegant 🥰

FALL/WINTER Class alert! Columbus I am teaching quite a few classes this Fall at the Dublin Rec Center. Classes range from preschool - adult.

Some classes are:
- Macarons 101 - adult and teen classes (People have been asking me for years to teach this class. Now I have two classes on the schedule!)
- Intermediate Cupcake Decorating - Halloween themed
- Parent and me baking class - this is for the preschool kids who love to be in the kitchen with an adult
- Cake decorating (adults and kids)
- Cookie Cake Mini Camp where you bake and decorate your own cookie cake over Winter Break

The Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC) will be closed from Saturday, Aug. 23 through Monday, Sept. 1, 2025 for annual cleaning, maintenance and repairs.
