Kashmiri Chai

Everything I do holds a memory. This cup and spoon were gifted to me by a friend who’s also my mentor in so many ways - one of those rare people who’ve always supported not just Zoya’s, but the Zoya who runs it. 😄

This tea has many names: Noon Chai (because salt is sometimes added), Pink Tea (for its iconic rosy color), but we call it Kashmiri Chai. Its delicate pink hue comes naturally from the way it’s brewed - a mix of green tea, a pinch of baking soda, and milk - a color that reminds me of the rosy cheeks of people from the northern areas of Pakistan.

We make it the right way: true color, rich aroma, and deep, comforting flavor - the kind of tea that feels like home in every cup. 🤍

When this trend went viral, I was startled — because for me, this was childhood. I grew up with the rattling of a spoon against a ceramic cup, whipping coffee and sugar into a frothy lather. That sound, that ritual, takes me back instantly.

This is pure caffeine and sugar bliss — a little burst of joy in every sip.

Maybe one day we’ll explore all the variations, to cater to everyone out there.

Meethai Platter
Nothing’s complete without Zoya’s Naankhatai & Malai Barfi, perfect every time.

These platters take me back to the bakeries where my dad picked up thaals and tokriyan for big events…
…and the pride my mom carried walking into the host’s lounge with those trays. Core memory. 🤍

Sometimes I design them.
Sometimes my customers challenge me - rose bouquets, thaals, favor packs, even a meethai tower in the works. “Umm Zoya, it’s a wedding… can you make some adjustments?” And we do.
