Spring always has a way of stirring memories for me. ๐ŸŒธ

Today's inspo comes from my beautiful grandparents โ€” two people who loved the simple joys in life. I know they're sharing an ice cream cone in heaven, laughing the way they used to. Moments like that remind me that joy is often found in the smallest, sweetest things.๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅฐ

When Iโ€™m creating in the kitchen, I think about that feeling. The kind of joy that makes someone pause for a secondโ€ฆsmileโ€ฆand feel like a kid again.

So I asked myself: If a banana split could be turned into cakeโ€ฆ what would it look like? ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿจ

Introducing Banana Split Cake Pops โ€” vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate cake layered with banana whipped cream frosting, topped with chocolate and rainbow sprinkles.

Meet sweet lilโ€™ Charlotte โ€” bravely navigating life with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and currently inpatient at Texas Childrenโ€™s Hospital in Houston. She was once Status 1A for a heart transplant (the highest priority)โ€ฆ but due to unforseen issues, sheโ€™s now been moved to Status 7. Heartbreaking doesnโ€™t even begin to cover it.โฃ

Iโ€™m incredibly grateful to one of Heart Of The Batter's supportersโ€”someone I had the honor of making a wedding cake forโ€”who reached out and entrusted in me with Charlotteโ€™s story so we could send a Kindness Kare package filled with love, comfort, and a little joy for her family.โฃ
