Time to fly... Ready to burst forth from Massachusetts and move to Flagstaff for a great opportunity in research, allowing low pressure expansion of the coaching and healing work I'm called to do.
It has been a most profound experience living with my parents for almost 3 years - much healing, acceptance, surrender, integration. I cherish these times and take them with me in my heart.
So, Flagstaff, this apparent boomerang is coming back, much to his utter surprise!
Travels start Tuesday, Oct 24th... 2500 miles...

Wow - this is something I Shared 3 years ago and it is even more appropriate and timely now. As I grow and learn more about myself, I see how unreal the world I thought I lived in really is... and how much more real I am when I am present and feeling myself fully, no matter the feelings, experiences...

It's been a while since I posted - been active with interviewing men on their experience of Presence, and learning a lot... for instance, the past 2 days, I have been totally caught up in drama and unable to think about, let alone quiet down to enter a state of Presence. So odd to have beautiful experiences and lose the ability to recall and anchor them... when caught up in the drama du jour! Whew!

I am becoming more acutely aware of the reality that we live in our bodies for a limited time and that most of us live like death or the end of physical existence will never happen. What a paradox it is for me to spend so much of the time I have thinking... about the past, what's bothering me, where I want to go, how to solve this latest challenge, etc., and forget to live in the present moment - NOW - and enjoy this precious opportunity called life, called consciousness. What we focus on can make this existence heaven, hell or something in between.

I just learned that poet Derek Walcott died on March 17th this year. I was recently introduced to a poem of his that has moved me deeply each time I pause to read it.
In honour of his passing, I share this poem. So glad you got to meet yourself at your own door, Derek. Feast on your life...
