We know. The backpacks are coming out (Jansport, suede bottom, navy blue was my go to).

School supplies are everywhere, bedtimes are getting earlier, and we’re already talking about fall.

That earlier bedtime always got me as a kid. Toward the end of summer, my parents would start sending us to bed before the ABC Family movie even ended. Something I’m not over. Summer wasn’t over yet.

There are few summer mornings left. Still time to sleep in, stay out late, eat some donuts and pretend September isn’t right around the corner.

So squeeze a little more out of summer. Grab the kids, grab a friend, take a walk and get in line. Make some new friends while you’re there. We’ll have the donuts ready!

Now Hiring: Early Morning Rockstar (Part-Time)

Are you a morning person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a reliable, energetic go-getter to join our bakery team for prime weekend and specifically Friday morning shifts!

If you love staying busy, connecting with customers, and working independently, we want to hear from you.

The Schedule
Fridays: 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Saturdays: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)
Sundays: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)
*Please list all weekly availability.*

What You’ll Do
Customer Service: We're not looking for someone who can just say "next in line." We want someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, making regulars feel welcome and creating the kind of experience that keeps customers coming back.

POS Operation: Efficiently ring up orders using our Square POS system.

Food Handling & Packing: Safely handle, organize, and beautifully pack fresh baked goods.

Shop Upkeep: Perform light cleaning and restocking to keep the front of house looking spotless.

Independent Ex*****on: Confidently manage the front of the shop on your own during operating hours.

OTHER: Dishes, folding boxes, cleaning and helping wherever the team needs you. Making coffee for the front.

--> Requirements
Age: Must be 18 or older (required for solo shop supervision during operating hours).

Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is a must. Please share your experiences!

Pace: Ability to work quickly, accurately, and with a sense of urgency in an incredibly fast-paced environment.

Skills: Comfortable with or quick to learn the Square POS system. Reliable transportation for early morning starts is essential.

Summer has a funny way of disappearing.

One minute the peaches are perfect.

The next, kids are buying notebooks and the mornings feel a little cooler.

We’re soaking up every bit of it while we can.

This weekend the cases will be full of fresh donuts, pastries, pretzels, pies, peach cake, and whatever else came out of the oven overnight.

Last weekend wasn’t the easiest trip to the bakery. Between the road closures and detours, getting here took a little extra effort.

But you still came.

Thank you for being such good neighbors. Your support, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile (sometimes literally) means more to us than you know.

A quick schedule update for this weekend:

Friday: 7:00 AM – Sellout
Saturday: 8:00 AM – Sellout
Sunday (7/12): Closed (for a family visit up north!)

We’ll be back the following weekend, rested and ready to fill the cases again.

If you picked up this year’s Best of the Main Line issue, you may have spotted us in the Critics’ Choice “Bakery Craze” feature. It’s an incredible honor, and it’s only possible because of this amazing community.

Thank you for making PanDoughMonium what it is.

You may also notice things looking a little different the next time you stop in!

The front of the bakery is getting a fresh new look as we roll out some new colors. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be adding a merchandise wall, new artwork, and a more welcoming space that we hope feels just as fun and memorable as the bakery itself.

We’re excited to keep growing, and we’re grateful that you’re coming along for the ride.

Happy Fourth of July weekend!

With the heat wave and our ovens working around the clock, the bakery is going to be extra warm this weekend.

We have one small favor: when you’re coming in or heading out, *please don’t hold the front door open.*

Every bit of cool air helps our team, our equipment, and the dough we’re working hard to make.

We’ll be ready for a great holiday with the cases full of your favorites.

If you’re running the race Saturday morning, stop by beforehand for your pre race fuel!
