It's been over a year for me since I stopped baking commercially, after 12 years of in front of the ovens. The past 3 weeks I been doing bit of baking on my days off at home. (L,R T,B) Sourdough Boule, Anadama Sourdough Batards and Dinner Rolls, Sponge w/ 13yo Starter, Honey Oat Sourdough.

In less than 2 weeks I will be hanging up my baker's apron for a while. It's been 12 amazing years of baking for some awesome bakeries. But the stress of 12 years of working nights has started running its toll on my mind and body. Looking forward to my new job at Colby's Portsmouth waiting tables, and working days! Thank you so much to Penelope Brewster: Ceres Bakery, Melissa Jasper: The Friendly Toast, Simon Athearn: Morning Glory Farm, Mary Breen: Bread and Roses Baking Co, and Leaven Beer and Bread House for giving me the opportunity to bake you all. It's not really a "job" when you get to do what you love! I will miss the ebb and flow, and coming home smelly of ye**ty goodness, of baking. But I'm looking forward to this next chapter in my life, and getting to spend more time with my family. Also a HUGE thanks to everyone that supported me with Starboard Cove Baking Co. I literally couldn't of done it without you. But know this... It ain't over till the fat lady sings. Love you all!

Come check out what I've been up to, tomorrow at the Kittery Community Market 2-6. I will be there from 4-6! Sadly SCBC will not be doing any markets this year. But you can check out the tasty, 100% sourdough starter (no commercial yeast), breads I been baking for Leaven Beer & Bread House in Somersworth NH. We are at plenty of markets this summer: Durham, Rochester, Kittery (e/o), N. Berwick, & Portsmouth. As always I look forward to baking for all of you!
