Hi! I’m Anna, owner and baker here. I’ve got a bit of an announcement so skip ahead if you want the TL/DR version. And no, I’m not closing. 😘

For those of you that don’t know much about me or my business history, I started my bakery almost 3 years ago with the desire to bring fresh, organic, real bread to my community. Over the years of hobby to business baking, I’ve made all my growth by a few posts on insta and word of mouth, and yet it has grown and grown.

Now aside from being a baker, I am a mother and homeschool my 3 kids. I am a wife of a man who works 45+ hours a week. I am renovating a house and planning to move (nearby) this year. I have more hobbies than I can count. I *try* to hit the gym twice a week. And I do all of this on top of working 35-40 hours a week on my bakery. I find myself waking up tired and going to bed with an incomplete to-do list most days, too many good things to get done.

I absolutely love what I do and the people I get to do it for but I have made a hard decision to take a step back for mine and my families health. Effective the second week of May, I will be discontinuing all products except loaves of bread. There will be two more bread drops for Weekly Yeasties and Country Garden Farms that will include English muffins and cookies and then it will just be loaves after that.

I’m hoping this will give our family more time to rest and enjoy the season we are in. If you’ve been following along, you know that this isn’t the first time I’ve scaled big things back! But this is the hardest I’ve had to go with how beautifully this business has come. I’m beyond grateful for all of your support through it all, it truly is the dream to be able to make these decisions and still move forward.

Too Long / Didn’t Read: after May 1st for Weekly Yeasties and May 2nd for Country Garden Farms, I will no longer be bringing any products but bread. Hopefully an ebook with recipes for everything is coming soon so that y’all can make these goodies yourself! Stay tuned.

Instead of long forms, waiting for emails, and waiting to see what weekly surprise items are, you can now order exactly what you want on my Hotplate website! Order for individual pickup times or for month long blocks! I’m so excited for lots of reasons here. It’s going to save me lots of time and also make it way easier for people to sign up for the things they want exactly when they want them! Sign up by 8a each Wednesday morning to get in on Thursdays pickup. 🥰
