This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of creating this custom rodeo-themed cake and matching cupcakes for a 65th birthday celebration! From the cowboy hats and boots to the horse, horseshoe, cacti, and cow print details, every piece came together to capture that western spirit. 🐎🌵🤎

6 years ago, a few years into my cake journey, I created this Michael Jackson inspired cake 🎤✨
Back then, I would travel to the venue and stack/decorate everything on site because I was still learning and building confidence in my craft. Now, I’m thankful for how much I’ve grown — most of my cakes are fully stacked, detailed, and ready before I even leave my workspace. 🙌🏽

Looking back at cakes like this reminds me that growth takes time, practice, and patience. With all the excitement around the Michael Jackson movie right now, I had to repost this classic creation. ❤️
