Our weekly routine looks a little different now that we’ve added homeschooling.
Today we worked on school all morning until lunchtime, which is time I would normally spend preparing for bake day. I wouldn’t trade that time with my kids, but it does mean I have to be much more intentional with the rest of my week.
There are orders to keep track of, groceries and supplies to buy, ingredients to total, and labels to prepare. I’ve started using AI to organize everything into one checklist, and it has been a huge help when my mind is going in several different directions. I’ve decided to go this route instead of an online ordering app or website for the time being.
Once school is finished, I can look at my list and know exactly what needs to be done next. It takes a little more planning and flexibility, but it is coming together more and more each day.
