Instead of being at markets this weekend, I'm taking care of things at our house and supporting my students. Today is the parade at Amboy Depot Days. Tomorrow I'll be back down here for 3 on a Tree, the car show, and to hear who has won the big 50/50 jackpot.

I'm also working on 3 different orders between all the things we're doing down here lol. I baked bread for us, made homemade tomato soup from tomatoes in our garden, made biscuits, and completed one of the three orders (peanut butter blossom cookies).

Good morning everyone! Orders are back open if you'd like to make one. Make sure you give me at least a week before you need it so I can plan out my baking.

I have decided to spend time with my mom and nephew this Saturday instead of being at the market in Lake Carroll. I will be back up next weekend, August 29th.

Just a reminder that school starts tomorrow for me so I will not be at any markets this week. I'm also not taking orders this week or next since it's the start of school. If you've been a teacher, you understand the "first week back teacher tired".

All set up at Lake Carroll Fest! I'll be here from 4-6pm tonight. There are 2 food trucks, bounce houses, and other vendors set up. I've been told the bands have moved indoors at the clubhouse.

Sold out! Thanks to everyone who came today to the Northeast Rockford Farmers Market!

I will be at Lake Carroll Fest Saturday night from 4-6pm Saturday instead of the regular market in the morning.

This week, I'll be at Northeast Rockford Farmers Market tomorrow and I'll be at Lake Carroll Fest Saturday night from 4pm-6pm instead of the regular market.

Rhubarb breakfast cake, apple cinnamon bread, blueberry bread, cinnamon sweet bread, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, and maybe some doughnuts if I have time tonight for the market tomorrow!

I've talked with a few of you at markets about making breads. I've given some of you my secrets to great fluffy bread. Here's a tip on cleaning your hands after you get done working with bread dough, but before you actually wash your hands.

I will be at Lake Carroll this Saturday! I've baked my breads today since I'll be busy most of the day tomorrow.

I have 3 mini banana breads, 3 mini blueberry breads, 3 mini cinnamon sweet breads, and one large loaf of banana bread.

Still deciding what I'm baking tomorrow... I'm thinking about petite vanilla bean scones and pumpkin muffins since they are BOTH delicious and I haven't made them in a while.
