💜🍎 SEPTEMBER IS HUNGER ACTION MONTH! 🍎💜
To have a village, you must be a good villager and we are calling on you to lend a hand if you’re able and help fill up the food pantry at Dixon Family Services!
This September, the Tremont Pioneers are taking action to help fight hunger in our community! 🚀
They are hosting a TPA Food Drive, with all donations going directly to Dixon Family Services to support local families.
📅 DROP-OFF DAYS
Every Monday & Friday in September
(No collection Monday, 9/7 — Labor Day)
📍 WHERE TO DONATE
Food drive bins will be at BOTH school entrances during:
☕️ Morning drop-off
☀️ Afternoon pick-up
WHAT CAN YOU DONATE?
We’re collecting unopened, unexpired, non-perishable food items.
Examples:
• Canned fruits & vegetables
• Canned beans & soup
• Pasta & pasta sauce
• Peanut butter
• Mac & cheese
• Canned pasta & ravioli
• Granola bars
✨ Please consider donating if you’re able! Take a quick look through your pantry, you may already have a few items that could help a local family. Every donation makes a difference. 💜

Este septiembre, nuestros Pioneros de Tremont están tomando acción para ayudar a combatir el hambre en nuestra comunidad. 🚀
Organizamos una Campaña de Recolección de Alimentos de TPA, y todas las donaciones serán entregadas a Dixon Family Services para apoyar a familias locales.

Todos los lunes y viernes de septiembre
(No habrá recolección el lunes 9/7 — Día del Trabajo)
📍 ¿DÓNDE DONAR?
Habrá contenedores en AMBAS entradas de la escuela durante:
☕️ Entrada de la mañana
☀️ Salida de la tarde
¿QUÉ PUEDES DONAR?
Alimentos no perecederos, sin abrir y que no estén vencidos.
Ejemplos:
• Frutas y verduras enlatadas
• Frijoles y sopas enlatados
• Pasta y salsa para pasta
• Mantequilla de maní
• Macarrones con queso
• Pasta y ravioles enlatados
• Barras de granola
✨ ¡Considera hacer una donación si puedes! Revisa rápidamente tu despensa; quizás ya tengas algunos artículos que puedan ayudar a una familia local. Cada donación hace la diferencia. 💜

Can’t make it to Tremont Elementary? Drop off your non perishable food donation here at the bakery and we will run it over to the school for you!
