Today we’re saying “see you later” to one of our amazing bakery team members as she heads off to begin an exciting new chapter at San Diego State University. 🎓❤️
From early mornings and busy rushes to countless smiles behind the counter, we’re so grateful for all the hard work, kindness, and dedication she brought to our bakery family. While we’ll miss seeing her around the shop, we couldn’t be more proud to watch her chase her dreams.
Wishing you endless success, new adventures, and unforgettable memories at SDSU. Once a part of our bakery family, always a part of our bakery family. ❤️🥐

Wishing a very Happy Birthday 🎉🎂 to our Sherrie!
For 18 years, Sherrie was the rock of the bakery. First she managed the bakery in Alamo Plaza and then after it closed in 2007, she took on the Dixon store that you all know today. Since her retirement we don’t see her nearly as much as we’d like, but she’s bakery family for life and one of our most favorite people on earth! So dear Sherrie, wishing you an absolutely fabulous start to a wonderful year filled with travel, family, laughter and love! And make big birthday wishes! ⭐️💫

Valentine Spotlight ❤️

Perla and Manuel first mer each other in Mexico, and although life initially led them in different directions, they met again in California. They began meeting every morning at Solano Baking Company over coffee.

As the years passed, the bakery became a part of their morning routine. On February 7, 2015, in the very place that had become a part their daily life, Manuel proposed to Perla, making Solano Baking Company forever intertwined with their story. Just a week later, on Valentine’s Day, they exchanged vows.

Fifteen years have passed since that unforgettable proposal, Perla and Manuel continue to walk through the doors of their beloved bakery, sharing it with family, friends, and loved ones. What began as a simple morning routine became a much more meaningful moment we all adore. Happy Anniversary Perla & Manuel ❤️
