Bakery Cafe is owned and operated by Dillsburg native Heidi Tucker. Located at 148, South Baltimore Street in Dillsburg PA, Tucker&Co. Bakery Cafe serves delicious and nutritious food Monday - Friday 7am-2pm and Saturday - Sunday 8am-2pm. We specialize in gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined-sugar-free baking. Stop in for a warm drink, some baked goodness, a local food grocery run, or a meal to fu

el your daily adventures! You can also find us at the Dillsburg Farmers Market, every Saturday (May - Dec.) 8am-12pm and every other Wednesday from 3pm-7pm at Farmers on the Square in Carlisle (May - December) with our food truck!

Today was quite a series of events.

It started with writing a team email to update our team members on the latest changes and reminders for the month of September. (We’ve got four new feature drinks for September!!)

Today also included texting some team members with scheduling questions because we are even trying to recruit our “off season” staff to be available to work Farmers Fair!

Next went to the cafe to help with a few tasks, ended up not getting that much done before I had to give a full property tour to an appraiser (bank stuff).

Realized our HVAC had shut off, had to clean the dirt trap for it. Got that working again.

Ended the regular work day trying to clean and reorganize our recipes into a new binder, and put away our latest ingredient and product deliveries.

Bonus after end of day thing: realized our under counter freezer was only cold and not frozen, so now have that pulled out and trying to clean its coils to see if it will run better. 🤞🏼🤞🏼Isaac finds success with that. 🫠

Thank goodness we just love this life and recreating this little bakery cafe day every single day.

Today’s video is all about hiring! And pancakes.

We are looking to hire more weekend bakery cafe team members immediately. We need folks who have flexibility to work both Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Folks who are friendly, outgoing, hardworking, interested in food, drinks, and hospitality should apply. Must be available to work at least one full Sunday shift a month, and some 11am to 3pm Sunday shifts as well. Messiah University students please feel free to apply for the school year!! We are only 8-10 minutes from campus. Send us an email stating your interest and your resume to [email protected]

Pancakes, Aran Goyoaga has in her book “The Art of Gluten Free Bread” the best gluten free pancake recipe I’ve ever eaten. We have a few copies of this book for sale at the cafe! This recipe is worth buying the book alone but it is filled to the brim with other great GF bread recipes including detailed instructions on how to get your few own GF sourdough starter going.

Bonus points if you make your pancakes on a flat top grill and top them with blueberries and honey.

Hello friends, neighbors, family, and silent internet stalkers 😂,

I am Heidi Tucker, owner/founder/baker at Tucker&Co. Bakery Cafe and I haven’t shown my face on here for a while. I love summer and have been fully enjoying this one. June and September are my favorite months of the year. I can’t wait to see what this September has in store for us.

(Spoiler: I don’t really know, but I hope at the very least I’ll be keeping you informed about all the great things our team at Tucker&Co. is building, making, and offering out into the world!)

Today we were almost out of coffee beans! (You all have been showing up more and more at the cafe and we are so thankful for it!!)

Little Amps generously and quickly roasted up my last minute weekend order today. Which allowed me to drive over to Harrisburg and pick up our beans this afternoon. Which in turn got our espresso machine and shelves refilled and ready to go for your morning cup tomorrow!

It is a joy to work with other local small businesses to serve our communities together. (Did you know you can get our gluten free vegan Oat Chocolate Chip Bars at both of the Little Amps shops?)

We also recently got another delivery of Black Rose beans from Elementary Coffee Co. another Harrisburg coffee roaster/shop we love sourcing from!

We’ve been adding new things every week at the cafe! We want to offer you more high quality food, gift, and household goods to bring you and yours some joy and care.

We now have a great selection of culinary books for some new kitchen inspiration.
A new flavor of Little Sesame hummus.
New to us, we grabbed a few goods from Kensington Food Company in Philly! This GF gnocchi is sourced from Italy but this hot sauce and marinara they make in Philly with veggies sourced from Lancaster County.
We have new Greenhouse juice shots for energy and extra vitamins!
And finally we’ve got a new grab and go nutritional bar option for ya! Come try one of these Tosi Snacks bars when you are on the run and need a little extra something to fill you up.
