I've been a little quiet on here as I adjust to my new office (classroom). It's been so fun and rewarding but definitely has me feeling exhausted! We also have an upcoming vacation scheduled, but get ready for lots of baking content after my return!

Anytime I get to bake for my own children is a happy day! Eleanor has planned an Ariel birthday since her birthday LAST year. We made sand dollar snickerdoodles and she called the shots on her cake decor. It was much simpler than anything I would've come up with, but she said it was the best cake she's ever had!

Officially checking out for the week! Join me in wishing my eldest sous chef, Eleanor, a happy birthday (tomorrow!) She is my nature loving, chicken wrangling, loud and proud little girl. So grateful for this FOUR year old, with her heart of gold and exuberant love for everything in this world!

Next weekend I'll share photos of her birthday cake - she requested an Ariel cake that is "peanut butter cookie" flavored. So wish me luck with that lol.

Stoney-Lane is in for a treat this weekend!

Golden Cookie Blondies. Who doesn't want a fudgey, cookie stuffed, blondie the size of their hand?!?! These are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth!

Sweet Cherry Scones. A bit more toned down than the blondies. Buttery, flakey, scones with local sweet cherries and a simple vanilla glaze.

I will be CLOSED next week as I attend training for my new teaching position and prep to celebrate our big girl turning four!!

August 29th - we will have PEACH CINNAMON ROLLS!!! They are massive. They are all things good in the world. Ooey-gooey cinnamon roll filling with an added layer of peach preserve. You won't want to miss!
