My bakes include breads, bagels, cinnamon rolls and so much more wonderful sourdough goodies. I am Melissa and I am a Lass originally from Scotland that loves to bake and fill everyones bellies with sourdough treats from my Micro Bakery. I bake everything with my sourdough starter "Fancy Nancy". Bakes I make are breads, bagels, cinnamon rolls, scones and many more goodies. I meet and drop off locally and you can find me at the local Farmers Market in Clayton Sat 9am-1. You can text me orders or message me. I can't wait to bake something wonderful for you!!!

The day already has started out wonderful. Lakeside Fog tea at Tallulah 1882 and a delicious breakfast croissant. The tea was so beautiful I did not want to ruin it by drinking it. Dino got the Pumpkin spice latte and amazing breakfast puff pastry . It has sausage, gravy, cheese and egg in it and he had to get seconds it was sooo good.

I saw a beautiful rainbow going home today🌈. My dutch oven has been sitting too long on the shelf, so it was time to take it out but not for baking bread. I made one pot lasagna for my Hanna and its amazing. I have not baked for almost a month however it feels great to be able to cook for my family, which was hard when I had my wee bakery. My boys are away for Adi’s soccer game and my daughter and I are going to have a movie night with lasagna and ice cream from her work place, Main Street Chocolates. Her favorite it the Salted Turtle, you stop by and say hi and you must try it, it is amazing.

While shopping around for available store fronts we decided to make a lunch date out of it. Keeping it local at Nona’s. Once again it did not disappoint. You must try their Blanca Spinach pizza!!! Also their complimentary wee loaf of bread amazing with the balsamic, olive oil, red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese, amazing!!! Nona Italian Restaurant

Blessed with a beautiful view while working doing a Mitigation estimate. Not as exciting as making sourdough thou. My husband owns a Water Restoration company for over 20 years. Behind my bakery scenes I would also work for him doing estimates for insurance claims. So I also specialize in Water Damage Insurance claims. I can help you from drying your structure to dealing with adjusters and preparing Repair estimates. We do it all and in between we do Carpet Cleaning😉.

Goodmorning🥰. I am sitting in one of my favorite spots drinking a cuppa on my wee porch this morning. The fog is coming down the hills and natures music playing in the back ground. Our wee hummingbird coming by to say good morning. I am thinking about you all and hoping everyone is doing well? I miss our talks, how family is doing, miss seeing your smiles. Missing you all❤️

Hiya, I wanted to get on here and explain more. I am so sorry I have worried quite a few of you all. My health is good, well as good as it can be being a little over fluffy😉😃. Blame those darn Cinnamon rolls😆. The main reason I stepped away was for my family. My business was taking over my home and I was physically present but really not there. My home became my work place 24/7. I tried to find a location/store front and could not find one. This would have allowed me to hire help and keep my home, home❤️. I was so blessed with all of your support and kept expanding and having stores wanting my bakes that I had to turn them down, which hurt my heart because I want everyone to enjoy my bakes❤️. So I decide to hang up my apron and concentrate on my children and give them some normalcy at home, now they can use the kitchen without crazy mama running around with dough on her hands and face😆.
I believe God gave me a gift and I am happy I was able to share it as long as I could. It made my heart burst with happiness when I see you alls excitement and smiles when you got your goodies. You have become my friends and Sourdough family for life!! Thank you all so much for allowing me to bake for you❤️❤️❤️.

Good Afternoon, this weekend I sold my commercial oven and equipment. It is official I am haning up my apron and will no longer be baking. I want to THANK YOU ALL for the wonderful support you have given me. It has been such a pleasure baking for you all and I will miss you. I will treasure the new friends and sourdough family I have gained these past few years. I will keep my page and plan one day to post recipes and maybe some videos. I comtemplating sharing "Fancy Nancy" and offer lessons, but that will be in the future. Again thank you with all my heart ❤️ ♥️

Good Morning!! I had the pleasure of stopping by Tallulah 1882 on our way to Athens yestarday. It was a special treat having my two oldest with me. Hanna even got to practice her French as we met a family that was from France. She amazes me everyday🥰. Well again it was amazing!! I had to get the Lakeside Fog again which almost brought me to tears. It brought back alot of childhood memories of Scotland sitting in front of the fire drinking a cuppa tea and eating our buttered toast that we toasted in front of the fire before school. If you like Earl Gray you will love it. Also the Turkey Fig Sandwich the BEST!!! The bread was toasted to perfection and adding the tomato and arugula made it even better. Thank you Tallulah 1882🥰
