The Dickinson Dolphins Short Course Season is almost here! 🐬💦 Register early, save money, and secure your swimmer’s spot for another great season in the pool!

Due to the high demand for athlete evaluations, we’re excited to announce that we have added a second session to our September 11 Splash Days! 🎉

If you haven’t had a chance to register your athlete for an evaluation, here’s another opportunity!

Please note the following upcoming practice cancellations:

🗓 Tuesday, September 1st - NO PRACTICE
Due to the DHS Girls Home Swim Meet, there will be no practice. We highly encourage our swimmers and families to attend, cheer on our high school girls, and watch some FAST swimming!

🗓 Wednesday, September 2nd - NO PRACTICE
Practice is canceled for the DHS Booster Bash! We encourage everyone to attend, support our local programs, and enjoy a fun evening with family and friends!

Registration is now open!! Join DDST in the Lap Pool from 6-6:45pm on Sept 11th. (If you don't have a WRCC membership just let the front desk know you are there for Splash Days).

During Splash Days, youth swim for FREE and swimming skills will be evaluated to see which group the swimmer is ready for on the Dickinson Dolphins Swim Team. Please bring a pair of goggles

Swimmers wishing to be a part of the swim team should meet the following requirements:
The swimmer must be comfortable being in the lap pool unassisted in the water.
The swimmer must be confident in water over his or her head.
The swimmer must be coachable.
Parents will be informed at the end from the coaches of their swimmer placement.

We hope you all have had an amazing summer! Just a reminder Monday, August 17th we resume our evening practice schedule and can utilize the main entrance of the Rec Center:

Flippers - M, T, Th - 6pm-6:45pm
AG1 - M, T, W, Th - 6pm - 7:15pm
AG2/3 & Sr. Nationals - M, T, W, Th - 6pm - 7:30pm

Also, the Women’s Locker Rooms will NOT be available until Tuesday, August 18th.

Our monthly Board Meeting will be Tuesday, August 11th at 5:30PM. With the Rec Center closed for “Clean Week” it will be at Living Word Fellowship Church

Next Week Reminders (8/10):

Developmental Groups will have the week off.

Pre-season August Age Groups Flippers and up will all have practice starting at 10AM. You will meet your coaches at the outdoor pool entrance, if you need locker rooms or restrooms you will need to use the ones for the outdoor pool. It is “Clean Week” and all indoor amenities are closed.

Thank you to our swimmers, parents, coaches, and board members for making our end of season Long Course event a success! We ran our new timing system for the first time and got to enjoy having our older and younger swimmers all together. We hope you enjoy these last days of summer and we look forward to seeing you all back in the pool soon.
